Abstract:
One of the most radical changes in the world today is the state-building process of the new states in the Western Balkan. Albania as the new state after the post Cold War era from 1990 followed by radical changes and transformation system process from communist towards democratization brought new economy, policy, socio-cultural and international problems in the government agenda. Definitely, the most constructive and emergent problem in Albanian integration process was building peace, democracy, socioeconomic development and stability, which are still important issues and tasks for its state-building process. With aim of solving the existing problems and actualizing the European Union as one of successful regional organization through its programs we consider in this paper a successful model on promotion of state-building of this country. The paper will emphasize how sociocultural, political and international cooperation and development are major prerequisites for achieving successful democracy and effective policies. The aim of this paper is to analyze the Albanian europeanization process through the EU standards. Since building the bridges between Albania and EU towards both of them faces still many challenges to address. Today the main challenges of Albanian government relate to implementing the EU policy priorities.
